Fall is here, which means cinnamon season is officially upon us. 🍂✨
Cinnamon has been prized for centuries for everything from food and medicine to ritual offerings—and magically, it’s especially associated with abundance, prosperity, attraction, and success.
You’ve probably seen the popular ritual of blowing cinnamon through your front door on the first of the month to welcome abundance into your home.
But why not zhuzh it up a little? 😉
Instead of grabbing cinnamon straight from the spice cabinet, let’s bless it first.
✨ You’ll need:
• An Abundance, Money, or Success Magic Candle—or a green/gold candle
• Abundant Wellspring Anointing Oil
• Powdered cinnamon
• A bowl
• A dollar bill
• Paper + pen
Set up your altar and take a moment to ground yourself.
Write an intention for the kind of abundance you want to invite in. We usually recommend focusing on the condition you want rather than demanding a specific dollar amount.
For example:
“May I be financially stable and prosperous. May money meant for me come my way and help me grow, with harm to none.”
Anoint the four corners of your petition with Abundant Wellspring Oil, fold it toward yourself, and place it beneath your bowl.
Lightly anoint your candle. Then knock three times on the surface where you’ll burn it to “wake it up.” It’s something that was taught to me, so I’m passing it along. 😉
Sign your name on your dollar bill along with:
“May my doors be open for abundance to come my way.”
Place it in the bowl and cover it with cinnamon. As you do, pray over the cinnamon, speak your intention, and thank it for the prosperity it represents.
Leave everything on your altar until the candle finishes its working or until the first of the month. 🔥 Never leave a burning candle unattended. And if you need to put it out, snuff out the candle, don’t blow it out!
On the first, take a pinch of your blessed cinnamon, stand outside your front door, repeat your intention, and blow it into your home.
Leave it for about a day before cleaning it up—and if you sweep it, sweep it farther into the house.
We are not immediately evicting the abundance we just invited in. 😂
🐾 Pet household? Powdered cinnamon can be irritating if inhaled or ingested, so skip blowing it indoors. Instead, place a very small amount somewhere safely outside your pets’ reach, such as in the soil of a plant by your doorway.
And voilà: blessed cinnamon for your monthly abundance refresh. ✨💰
Save the extra for future prosperity work—we have a few more tricks for it coming soon. 😉
