Summer Solstice & Cancer Season Ancestral Altar
You will need the Ancestral Blessing Anointing Oil, the Summer Solstice Magic Candle, incense, fresh summertime flowers, and images or objects that remind you of your ancestors.
BEGIN by finding the space where your altar will be, and once sitting in front of it, take a few deep breaths.
LIGHT the Summer Solstice Magic Candle and with its flame, light the incense and pass it around the area where your ancestral altar will live.
ANOINT your upper chakras (Throat, Third Eye, and Crown) with the Ancestral Blessing Anointing oil and begin staring at the candle’s flame as a way to connect with the spirit of your ancestors. Spend a good amount of time here, going down memory lane, remembering the stories that unite you.
ANOINT your wrist and hands with the oil and begin connecting with each one of your flowers. Hold them in your hands, admire them, and give them special treatment.
REPEAT the mantra: “This is my offering to you, my dear ancestors; I am forever grateful for your guidance, unconditional love, and protection.”
ARRANGE your altar, setting the candle in the middle and adding the flowers around the pictures or the special objects you chose.
