The week ahead comes with a relatively low number of planetary aspects. However, right from the get-go, we welcome the New Moon in Gemini on May 30th. This lunation comes in strong, as it is happening on Monday, the day of the week ruled by the Moon. We could also say that this Moon comes in its purest form, as it is not connecting to any other planets. This is a rare astrological phenomenon that will allow us to absorb the raw energy of the Sign of the Twins.
Gemini is an intellectual sign ruled by Mercury, the Planet of Communication and Thought Process, which is currently in retrograde (goes direct this Friday). Our minds could be busy, thinking about the past, and maybe even trying to reconcile recent important events. Some of us have gone through a lot of change and might be struggling with how fast this has unfolded.
Luckily for us, this is when the sacred dichotomy of this zodiac sign comes in. Gemini is the sign most representative of the duality that exists in the universe—but most importantly, the integration of these two very different sides. So, it is only natural that during this lunation, the universe might request this from us, to integrate two parts of our lives that currently seem at odds with one another.
