Welcome to 2022! As we step into the new year, there’s an undeniable sense of optimism in the air, and for good reason! Over the year ahead, the Universe will provide us with delightful opportunities for manifesting, which is something to be grateful for. But before the magic fully arrives, we still have a little bit of work to do. After all, we attract based on how we feel, which sometimes requires changing our mindset around what abundance means for us in the first place.
Over the week ahead, we will be deep in the thick of Venus’ Retrograde transit. For the past couple of weeks, the Goddess of Pleasure, Love, and Money has been bringing to our attention the need to change or revise an important relationship. For some of us, this feeling could be manifesting quite intensely. But if we dare to go below the surface, we will be able to see that there has been “something missing” within this bond. And if we are going to continue with it, certain agreements and terms would have to change. But perhaps it’s our attitude toward this bond or connection (and even ourselves) that needs to change.
As Venus Retrograde gets activated by Neptune and the Sun this week, we can get to the heart of the matter. We might suddenly begin to see that our ability to attract has been based on subconscious pre-conditioning. And that perhaps our inability to love ourselves enough has colored our ability to attract. If these sudden realizations knock at your door—don’t beat yourself up! Instead, make it a point to show yourself more love in the year ahead by recommitting to radical self-love, self-care, and self-acceptance.
During the days ahead, listen to this cosmic call to redefine your ability to attract by glamourizing your look, dressing up, dancing, making art, enjoying yourself, and even putting yourself first! Set the tone for the entire year by letting sink in the fact that you were born to experience pleasure, abundance, and a close alignment with the cosmos. As you show yourself all these tokens of appreciation, repeat the mantra: “I was born to experience love & pleasure in all their forms.” As you repeatedly say these words, feel them in your body, and allow them to infuse your entire being.
How does it feel to love yourself so deeply? We certainly hope you get used to that feeling!
