Just a few weeks back, Mercury was retrograde in the sky during a time of great shifts and change. And the Trickster Planet definitely put us through some tests.
The good news is that Mercury re-enters Gemini on Monday, June 13th at 8:27 a.m. Pacific Time. Since Mercury is the planetary ruler of this sign, it feels quite comfortable in this part of the sky. For the next three weeks, our communication skills will be strong and our minds will be moving at a rapid speed. We will feel mentally stimulated, social, and extremely curious. We will want to learn about different subjects, practices, and even people. However, our attention span will be limited, so to make the best of this mental agility that will be available to you, try focusing it on one thing or practice at once.
This week, Mercury in Gemini carries a special ability to heal and restore. With Mercury now moving at full speed, we get the opportunity to repair the way we feel about a past event, not only from the previous week, but also from previous years. However, this is especially true if a relationship went sour during the time Mercury was retrograde between May 10th and June 3rd. If this week’s astrology revives a sensitive subject for you, take it as a sign to deal with it once and for all.
Are you still upset about something someone did to you? Are you hurting from a relationship that ended abruptly? Heal it with words! This is something that can be done by having a heart-to-heart conversation, as our diplomatic skills will be active and coming from a place of non-attachment. But if “having the talk” is not possible, focus on healing by pouring your feelings into a letter. Mercury is a planet that loves expression in written form. This practice doesn’t necessarily involve delivering this letter, what matters the most is that you adopt it as a healing modality and an outlet for your feelings. By doing this simple ritual, you will allow yourself, and the other person, to heal and move on.
