NEW MOON FORECAST: November 2: Submerge in Clarity at the Scorpio New Moon

Your soul's depths are calling. On Sunday, November 8th at 11:02 p.m. PST, the New Moon arrives at 16° Scorpio, one of the most psychologically potent lunations of 2026. With Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio now,  the cosmic invitation is to go inward all the way down, to the place where your truest passions and desires live. Venus went retrograde at 8° of Scorpio, while Mercury sits at six degrees of Scorpio, nearly the same degree. The planets are swimming in murky, transformative waters, asking you what you truly desire - not what you think you should want, but what makes your soul catch fire.

This New Moon forms a tense square with Mars, Jupiter, and the South Node of Destiny in Leo, pushing you to release outdated expressions of passion and creativity in exchange for something more authentic and soul-aligned. The old story of who you thought you were is composting. What is left when you strip it all away is the real you, and that is exactly who this New Moon wants to meet.

Scorpio New Moon Clarity Ritual

You will need the 2026 New Moon Ritual Candle (Scorpio Edition), the Clarity Bath Bag, and Carnelian Tumble.

DRAW a bath before adding the Clarity Bath Bag to the water.

LIGHT the Scorpio New Moon Ritual Candle, placing it where you can see it from the tub.

SUBMERGE yourself and hold the Carnelian tumble over your heart as you soak, letting Scorpio’s waters pull everything you have been carrying to the surface. What passion have you abandoned and what desire have you been too afraid to name?

SNUFF the candle before leaving the bathroom. Fill a bowl with the bath water and herbs, placing the Carnelian Tumble inside it and setting the bowl beside your bed with the unlit candle next to it.

SLEEP with both nearby - your subconscious will keep working while you rest, and the messages that arrive in your dreams or in the haze of waking are the ones worth writing down.

WAKE UP and light the candle one final time and journal whatever came through the night -  images, feelings, a single word. Trust it.

GO OUTSIDE and find a park, a tree, or a patch of earth, and pour the water into the ground. As it absorbs, speak out loud what you are releasing.

WRITE your intentions on paper and bow to the Earth to follow through on them over the next six months.
