Weekly Astrology Forecast I August 29 – Honoring our Wellness During Venus in Virgo

The week that transitions us into September is relatively mellow astrologically speaking. The overall vibe speaks of the need to find balance, and we will be feeling optimistic, strong, and courageous. Certain planetary connections will have us questioning our own ideas, plans, and beliefs, shifting our minds towards the future. 

As we sink into this desire of wanting to plan ahead, Venus, delivers a power move that will guide us in creating our next life strategy. On Sunday, September 4th at 9:05 p.m. Pacific Time, Venus enters Virgo, where she will remain until September 29th. 

In astrology, Venus rules pleasure, relationships, and social interactions. During the time Venus was in Leo (8/11-9/4), our focus was on being creative, feeling seen, and having fun! Now, during the almost four weeks Venus is in Virgo, our Sky Princess turns our attention towards a more observant, analytical, and practical approach to life. After all, this is the energetic current that will take us into the next season, the Fall Equinox, which begins on September 22nd. 

As we begin to wind down from the summer, Venus in Virgo requests that we take a cold hard look at our wellness routine. Of all the possible planet-sign combinations, Venus-Virgo is tasked with analyzing, improving, and “refining” our connection between mind, body, and spirit. Going with the astrological flow of life means that the next three weeks will be better spent assessing which lifestyle and wellness rituals will prepare us for the colder days to come.   • Have I dedicated enough time & energy to my spiritual practices? 

    • When answering these questions, stay realistic and be nice to yourself. And as you adjust over the next three and a half weeks, keep in mind that “perfectionism” is a shadow side of this Venus in Virgo vibration. Any real effort you make will be rewarded!
