Mantra: “When I ground my body, my mind is open to brilliance.”
An extra-exciting week is ahead of us. We are in eclipse season, right in the middle point between the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Taurus, and the upcoming Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio that will rise in the sky next week (more on that later). Energetically speaking, these are days in which we will be swimming in somewhat strange waters. Since eclipses are portals that mix the past with the present and the future, it’s only normal to feel different when we are riding the waves of these powerful lunations. This week also brings the yearly meet-up of the Sun with Uranus, the Planet of the Unexpected, Change, and Freedom. In theory, the archetype of this planet sounds fun—and it is, but the truth is that most of us aren’t necessarily excited when we hear “unexpected change.”
The good news is that we have all, at one level or another, been working with this archetype since the beginning of 2021. So, slowly but surely, we have been surrendering and even embracing the fact that “change is the only constant in life.” As we stand in this liminal space in time, it’s crucial that we continuously practice grounding techniques so the electricity in the air moves through our bodies.
If you feel nervous, erratic, or all up in the air. Sit down, meditate, practice breathwork, and clear your mind. As you ground, imagine a huge red and bright light in your root chakra, extending all the way down to the center of the Earth. Next, visualize the symbol or even the planet of Uranus in your mind for a few minutes. Once you feel ready to receive, ask this planet: “What do I need to change in my life to feel more authentic and experience more creativity and freedom?” Then, watch the answers come in the form of symbols, sounds, and messages throughout the week. Repeat this as much as you want to, but especially when you’re feeling nervous or there’s chaos around you. You see, Uranus is such a force of nature that we can only capture its genius when we are in a pure state of mind, ready to receive its brilliance and inspiration. If we can turn off the outside noise, as well as our own expectations, big breakthroughs could be on the horizon.
