5 Foods That Increase Intuition

Have you considered hacking your third eye with food? It's not that hard! Combine a plant based diet with regular meditation, yoga and breath work and you will be well on your way to becoming clairvoyant. Here are some of the top foods you can eat to stimulate intuition. The reason food is so closely tied with our intuition is because we need to run clean to run energy. That means we digest regularly and we are toxin free! This type of eating will also make you better looking which is a nice bonus! If you add these foods but the rest is really unhealthy, you may not notice a significant shift. 

1. Cacao

This superfood is a bean that makes chocolate but in it's raw form, it stimulates your intuition. Cacao has minerals and antioxidants as well which can help strengthen your immune system. It comes in powder form, nibs or whole beans. You can find products with raw cacao as well but avoid processed chocolate bars or desserts because it will actually decrease intuition with the preservatives and sugars that come with it. 

2. Chlorella

This incredibly green superfood comes dried in tablets for you to chew. The flavor is earthy and it will get in your teeth. It makes you more alkaline and should only be taken raw for the full effect. This can be found in most health food stores in the vitamin aisle. You can also get a powder to mask the taste in a raw food smoothie. Chlorella has many benefits besides increasing intuition such as reducing food cravings, helping brain function and cleansing the skin. 

3. Maca

This libido enhancer is an adaptogen which can energize you or calm you depending on what you need. Adaptogens should not be taken more than recommended and not for prolonged periods of time as they are meant to balance the hormones. Many people use maca to break a coffee addiction. This comes from a root which is ground and has a nice earthy flavor. It comes in capsule form but is probably best in a smoothie or raw cacao bar! Your hormonal balance is important for your intuition to develop. 

4. Goji Berries

Grown in the high Himalayan mountains, this berry comes dried and is packed with vitamin C. It was traditionally used medicinally and has powerful antioxidants. Goji berries will help reduce hunger cravings because of all the phytonutrients and they make a great snack on their own. Again it's best to eat these in their raw form.

5. Beets

Any purple plant will help open your third eye. The deep purple beet is known to help many of your organs function better. We often forget that all the organs must be working together for our nervous system to function optimally. The energy grid of the body cannot be separated from the organ health. Beets have many vitamins and minerals as do any plant that is grown underground which absorbs the minerals from the soil.
